Community Development Manual
Development, Management and Evaluation of District Councils
The Community Development Manual was produced as part of the final report to The Ontario Trillium Foundation based on their generous financial support regarding the development, management and evaluation of District Councils throughout Ontario from 2001 to 2004.
The Community Development Manual has been designed with a view to assisting and supporting the regional field staff of The Easter Seals Ontario in their efforts to work in partnership with volunteers to carry out the objectives of Easter Seals at the community level.
It will also serve as a guide to external agencies who wish to develop a similar operating structure within their own organization and to facilitate their efforts.
The Easter Seals Ontario and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, in partnership, are pleased to offer a copy of the Community Development Manual - Development, Management and Evaluation of District Councils, to non-profit organizations wishing to learn more about the District Council model.
