Sunday's Toronto Easter Seals Regatta makes a difference for kids
Toronto, ON, July 9, 2009 –For two decades the Easter Seals Regatta has been giving kids with physical disabilities a chance they don’t often get, a chance to ride the waves in the Toronto Harbour. This Sunday, the Toronto sailing community will, again, gather at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club to meet families and take them out for a great day on the water.
“In this economic environment, it is particularly difficult for families who incur extra costs for caring for a child with physical disabilities,” says Alan Convery, Manager, Community Relations, TD Bank Financial Group. “TD Bank Financial Group is proud to be a long-time supporter of Easter Seals Ontario in providing a brighter futures for these kids."
